It is a great pleasure to welcome the Catenian Conference back to Province 3.

Welcome to Sheffield 2023.

You will find Sheffield a modern City of Sheffield and a great place to visit. Within the City limits there are some 250 parks and 52 square miles of the Peak District National Park. A recent study, perhaps predictably by the University of Sheffield, shows it has more trees per head of population than any other city in Europe. The Sheffield Peace Gardens close to the Conference venue of Sheffield City Hall were recently voted the No 1 urban picnic site in England. All around you you will find bars and restaurants catering for every taste. If shopping is your thing there is Meadowhall only a short ride away by frequent train, tram or bus.
